
The Ogun State-owned security agency, Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has recovered satellite decoders, Gotv boxes and remote controls suspected to be stolen items.
This was made known in a press release from the Office of the State Commander of So-Safe Corps, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo through the office of the Director of Information and Public Relations of the agency, Assistant Commander, Moruf Yusuf.
According to Yusuf, the Coker-Ibogun Area Command Officers of the Corps headed by ACC Sanni David while on routine patrol along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway in Ilepa Axis in Ifo Local Government Area, sighted some men carrying items. They were stopped. This was happening on the 4th of December, 2022.
He further disclosed that the men stopped during the patrol were suspected to be robbery suspects.
Ganzallo said that seeing the men of the So-Safe, the suspects took to their heels, leaving the items behind.
Ganzallo revealed that all efforts to get them apprehended proved abortive. Ganzallo noted that having satisfied with the owner’s claim with the list of items stolen tallied with the items recovered, the recovered items had been handed over to the owner as he approached the agency to report burgling of his shop.
