The Inspector General of Police, Alkali Usman Baba, today 26th of May 2023, has ordered the immediate transfer of 15 Police Public Relations Officers (PPRO).
In a signal sighted by The Eagle online, the IGP ordered that the respective officers should be warned and released to their respective commands and formations.
Those affected are CSP Isah Gambo PPRO Katsina State, now moved to Zone 4, Katsina, CSP Geoffrey Ogbonna PPRO Abia State now moved to Abia State, SP Stifanu Sunday Bako PPRO Zone 7 Abuja to FCID, SP Ihunwo Joseph Zone 13 now PPRO Zone 13, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi PPRO Ogun State, now moved to Oyo State, SP Odutola Omolola Tawakalitu AS, now PPRO Ogun State.
Others are DSP Mustapha Bello Abdulkadir FPRO, now moved to PPRO Zone 7 Abuja, ASP Shehu Suleiman PPRO Zone 14 Katsina State, now Katsina State, ASP Abubakar Sodiq Aliyu Katsina State to PPRO Katsina State, ASP Hussain Suleiman POLAC, now PPRO POLAC, ASP Ewhubare Ovie Kenneth Imo State, now FPRO (PCB), ASP Chinaka Chioma Maureen 2i/c FPRO Abia State, now PPRO Abia State, ASP Yazid Abubakar Zamfara State, now PPRO Zamfara State, ASP AladeJare Adebola Ondo State, now FPRO (Social Media) and ASP Ekpenyong Essien Edo State, now FPRO (Dawn Newspaper).
