
…calls for intentional policy to improve children’s development
The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase, former Inspector General of Police, has said that children deserved to be handled with a lot of care as they are the most vital asset of a nation.
Arase said there was a need for a deliberate government policy to improve the lots of our children, especially in the face of the global economic meltdown.
He noted that sweat for children today, “is a promise for a better tomorrow” adding that Nigeria must of necessity invest in children to reap the benefits of rapid national growth.
He wishes Nigerian Children, especially the Children of the Staff of the Police Service Commission and the Nigeria Police Force, a rewarding celebration.
The PSC Chairman prays that the innocence and promise of our children should feel our homes and heart with happiness and fond memories to cherish forever.
