A Popular skit maker and content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa aka Trinity has been declared wanted by the Oyo State Police Command for using a minor in his skit and thereby exposing her to sexual content.

The information on the wanted skit marker was shared on the Twitter handle of the Oyo State Police Command.

The Oyo State Police Command invited the skit maker came less than a week after the Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi warned skit makers to be wary of the pranks they play on unsuspecting Nigerians, especially those using dummy guns.

The Oyo State Police Command has tweeted: “Popular content creator, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa aka Trinity has been contacted and invited at the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the disturbing viral skit content making the rounds across the Social Media space concerning a Female Minor. Updates would be provided soon.”

The skit maker swiftly did a video in reaction to the call for his arrest, and apologised, saying that the video, where he used a10 years old girl to act a part where she was stating the colour of manhood, was a “miscaption.”

Naturally, the move by the police has got the internet buzzing, with many expressing their opinions.

A Twitter user, Owoseni Samuel@OwoseniSamuel, said: “I believe the police force are professionals in their duties, if he is guilty, I think he can be warned and never do any dangerous skit again. I hope there should be room for conversation on boundaries to avert future occurrences. No one is above mistake.”

Ayokunle Edema@bobokunski also has something to say on the issue.  “Thank you. No justification for whatsoever for that horrible piece, maybe those on his side, who might not understand Yoruba might get an interpreter in any language of their choice, and there will get to hear the jargon.”

Ola@Scofield0498, said: “It’s concerning to hear about the allegations involving Trinity and the viral skit. It’s important to let the investigation take its course to determine the facts. We await updates from the authorities for a clearer understanding of the situation.”
