The Governor also commended the outgone Commissioner of Police, now AIG Wale Abass for all he did for Deltans while serving in Delta State. The Governor assured the CP that Deltans will continue to cooperate with the Nigeria Police and other security agencies in the State for the state to have peace which will enhance development.
The Governor also stated that the State has inaugurated the Police trust fund and he promised to support and also encourage other stakeholders to partner with the State to support the trust fund.
