As the Muslim faithful conclude the Ramadan fast with celebrations across the globe, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr Solomon Arase CFR, retired Inspector General of Police has prayed for Allah’s divine guidance.
Dr. Arase also prayed that Allah should grant the nation a new beginning and inculcate in Nigerians the spirit of dedication and commitment to national growth.
He called for Allah’s blessings and protection on this occasion and enjoined both Muslim faithful and other Nigerians to believe in their ability to make the nation work better for everyone. “May Allah bless Nigeria and Nigerians with prosperity and abundance ” he prayed.
Dr. Arase felicitated the Muslim staff of the Commission and Police Officers on the Ramadan celebration and urged them to imbibe the lessons learnt during the period of fasting.
According to him “may your fast remind you of the sacrifices Allah made for us” adding that Allah will continue to provide and sustain them throughout the year.
He assured them of the Commission’s commitment to continue to ensure the provision of the enabling environment for them to give their best in the service of the nation and prayed “May God accept their supplications”.
