CP Itam Opens More Channels Of Engagement, Receives Obi Of Onitsha

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Itam, to promote an all-inclusive Policing Strategy, has opened more channels for engagement in the state.

He made this known while hosting a security meeting with the State Service Commanders comprised of Army, Navy, DSS, and others.

Itam also received His Royal Highness, Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, the Chairman of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council in his Office at Anambra State Police Command Headquarters, Awka.

The Police spokesman in the state, Tochukwu Ikenga, said that after a closed-door meeting with the Personality and the Service Commanders, the CP restated his policing Plan, which is poised to hear from everyone and anyone who will help the Security Agencies in enforcing the law and maintaining public order and safety in the State.

 

Recall, that since the assumption of the Commissioner of Police, apart from the Operational plan already in force, he has been advocating by addressing the Officers and men in all the departments/sections of the Command, engaging some relevant Stakeholders in the State which includes Catholic Priets at the bishop’s Conference in Onitsha, the Vigilante group of the State, the Hunters Association, Police Community Relation Committee, and many others.
