Members of EDOCSO ably led by Leftist Omobude Agho, hit the streets of the ancient city of Benin to stress the importance of security remaining neutral in the election.

Leftist Aimuae-Osa Igbinomwanhia said that the need for security agencies to maintain neutrality in the forthcoming Edo gubernatorial election, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 21st September 2024 was essential.

Leftist Omobude Agho, the Coordinator-General of the aforementioned network, addressed the Commissioner of Police, Edo State Police Command, CP  Nemi Edwin-Iwo, on behalf of the good people of Edo State on the subject matter.

Leftist Omobude Agho emphasised on the danger of security agencies not maintaining neutrality in an election.

The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Nemi Edwin-Iwo and the director of DSS, Edo State, who expressed optimism and the moves by EDOCSO, assured the citizens of their neutrality in the forthcoming Edo gubernatorial election and they promised to uphold professionalism in discharging their constitutional duties.
