A Police Inspector, with AP/No: 227540 Shuaibu Samaila has been arrested for stabbing his wife to death in the heat of a quarrel.
According to a Situation Report seen by Securitynewsalert.com, on the 13th of October 2024, at about 8:am, AP/No: 227540 Inspector Shuaibu Samaila, attached to anti-one chance (D20), residing in Deidei Mopol Barracks, had a misunderstanding with his wife.
During the misunderstanding, Samaila in a fit of rage, grabbed a knife and stabbed his wife.
The woman was rushed to the Kubuwa General Hospital for urgent medical treatment, but the doctor on duty confirmed her dead.
Samaila was immediately arrested and is currently in police custody, while the remains of his wife have been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary.
