Insecurity: FG Initiates Joint Operation, Training Exercise To Prepare Security Forces

The Nigeria Police Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, has said that in furtherance of efforts in combating all forms of crimes and criminality in Nigeria, the Federal Government has initiated a joint operation and training exercise to prepare security forces to respond appropriately and adequately to security threats in Nigeria.

According to Adejobi, it was in this regard that the Office of the National Security Adviser in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, wishes to notify residents of the Federal Capital Territory and its environs that there will be a simulation exercise on crisis response around Idu Train Station on Thursday 28th November 2024 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Adejobi said: “Members of the public are hereby enjoined not to panic as the exercise, which will come with heavy sounds of explosives, will be carried out in a controlled environment with no possible danger to residents as it is aimed at simulating response to emergencies.@”
