Infidelity: Why I Hit My Wife’s Head Three Times With Hammer -Driver

-

A professional driver, Azeez Bamigboye, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command after he bludgeoned his wife to death, accusing her of infidelity.

The 31-year-old suspect, in the video, said that he grabbed a nearby hammer and slammed it on the head of his wife when he noticed that she was always chatting with a guy.

He said that he suspected that she was cheating on him, but had no evidence to substantiate his claim.

However, before the ugly incident, Bamigboye disclosed that he once had an accident, which kept him in hospital for months and that his deceased wife was with him throughout that trying period.

Listen to him: “At about midnight we were having issues, she dragged me from the bed.

“She held my neck, we started dragging, what my hand could touch was a hammer.

“The hammer used to hold the chair in our house. We married for five years, but no child. I had an accident on my way back from Lagos. I was hospitalised for nine months. She never left my side after my accident. “She used to be with me at the hospital with my siblings. Yes, I have not paid her bride price.

“This is not her first time fighting with me, look at my hand, she bites me there and after she will still keep malice with me.

“But the recent fight was because she asked that I should refund the money I borrowed from her, I said no problem. She was always on video call, with a particular guy which I informed the mother.

“The mom scolded her, and she stopped for some time. She never left me to follow another man while I was at the hospital, but while there, I learnt she used to visit a particular man, and I was not bothered.

“I hit her with that hammer like three times. I am pleading with the government to have mercy on me.”
