A woman passenger has died after a cyclist, who picked up from Mile2, heading to Iyana-Iba lost control of his motorcycle, causing the woman to be flung under a truck, where she was crushed.
The incident occurred on 24th of February 2025, at about 1:pm, at Ojo Barracks, Main Gate, along Lagos Badagry Expressway.
According to Traffic Police: “The accident involved one Howo Truck, driven by one Kazeem Olashokumi, and rider of TVS motorcycle red in colour. The rider is yet to be identified.
“One female passenger died while the cyclist was plying the expressway from mile 2 heading to Iyana-Iba he suddenly lost control and the passenger fell off under the moving truck, and was smashed through the rear tyre of the truck she died instantly corpse evacuated driver truck and motorcycle recovered to the station rider absconded.”
