Husband Confesses To Stabbing 35 Yrs Old Wife To Death

A husband, Peter Dike, has confessed to killing his 38-year-old wife with a kitchen knife during a squabble in the Morogbo area of Lagos State.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, said that Morogbo Division received the complaint on 19th March 2025 at about 11: 25am.

Hundeyin said: “A team of detectives while on surveillance township monitoring patrol at Oke Ira Ilogbo Eremi got information that Peter Dike, living in Oke Ira Ilogbo Eremi stabbed his wife to death hence the team swiftly raced to the scene and arrested the suspect.

“One kitchen knife stained with blood was recovered from him the lifeless body of his wife, 38, found in front of him in a pool of her blood.

“He was brought down to the station and interrogated accordingly. He confessed to having committed the crime. The corpse was removed and deposited at the morgue of Badagry General Hospital for preservation.”
