The management of the Lagos State Traffic Authority (LASTMA) has denounced a viral video on ‘Twitter, where its officials drove against traffic with an operational vehicle.

In this video, the LASTMA operational vehicle was blocked by a private car on the Oworonsoki Bridge, Lagos.

In a press statement, the General Manager of LASTMA, Bolaji Oreagba, explained that the video incident occurred in 2020 before the #ENDSARS protest around Iyana-Oworo.

“Consequently, all officers involved have been appropriately sanctioned by the Authority. We are calling on the public members to disregard the video deployed to embarrass its team of hardworking officers.”
