Pastor Adefarasin submits Self To Police Over Viral Video Showing Him With Gun-like-Object

-

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja.

He is currently undergoing interrogation by detectives who have commenced an investigation following a video that surfaced online showing the pastor holding a gun-like object against another road user while driving an unregistered vehicle.

The development was confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin, on Tuesday in Lagos. Hundeyin emphasised that “No one is above the law!” in response to the incident.
The police had initiated an investigation into the matter shortly after the video began circulating on social media. The specific nature of the gun-like object and the circumstances surrounding the encounter with the other road user are expected to be key focuses of the ongoing interrogation.
The Lagos State Police Command stated that the outcome of the investigation will be made public once it is concluded.
