The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, has taken to his Twitter handle to share how a grieving father was almost lynched in the state after people saw the corpse of his five years old son.

He also revealed that two men Francis Friday 30 and Nonso Orji, 22, along with 35 years old Kemi Adeyemo, were arrested for being in possession of 150 bottles of skuchies in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu.

Hundeyin said: “A five years old boy took ill and died overnight. The family insisted he is buried in the village. Father and one other went to the bus terminal with a corpse. Passersby raised alarm and resorted to lynching. Police came to the rescue. At all cost, avoid bringing dangerous suspicion on yourself.”

He further stated: “Started with reasonable suspicion, then search. Francis Friday 30, Kemi Adeyemo 35 and Nonso Orji 22 were arrested while conveying 150 bottles of skuchies in a Suzuki minibus at Igbo Agowa, Ikorodu. An investigation is ongoing. Say no to drugs!”
