The Commandant, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSDC), Lagos State Commandant of Corps, CC Eweka Edenabu Okoro on Wednesday, 28th September 2022, received some executives of the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria, CRAN, in his office, at the State Command Headquarters, in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The State’s spokesman, Abolurin Oluwaseun Olumide, said the CRAN team was led by the President of the association, Mr Lekan Olabulo.
The CRAN President, while stating the mission of the visit, commended the commandant for his very laudable and outstanding performances within the security sector in the state.
Responding, Okoro extolled the executives of CRAN as well as its members for their unflinching support for the command, in ensuring timely and consistent reportage of the Command’s news.
The Commandant said that the roles the journalists were playing, to ensure the flow of communication could not be over-emphasised and as a result, CRAN will continue to receive the Command’s full support.
