The Nigeria Police Force has gained a significant position on the international stage with the election of Commissioner of Police Olubode Ojajuni to the INTERPOL Africa Committee.

Ojajuni was elected during the 27th African Regional Conference in Cape Town, securing a two-year term for Nigeria on the influential body. The committee is responsible for advising on strategic crime priorities, strengthening cross-border police cooperation, and developing projects to enhance continental security.

This achievement highlights Nigeria’s growing leadership in global law enforcement and its commitment to combating transnational crime and terrorism.

Inspector-General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun congratulated Ojajuni on the victory, reaffirming the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to professionalism and international cooperation. He pledged to sustain active engagement with global partners to promote peace and security worldwide.
