-

On the the17th of January 2023, the leadership and members of Edo Civil Society Organisations EDOCSO led by its interim TEC Chairman Leftist Austine Enabulele paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Micheal Adams who lost his life after a gallantry rescue mission of the kidnapped president of an Area customary court at Edo central senatorial district.

Enabulele, thereafter led the team to the State Police Headquarters Benin city, to condole with the command.

The commissioner, CP. Dankwara in the company of top officers of the command received the team warmly, appreciated the sympathetic concern of the group and admitted that it was a difficult moment for the command.

TEC chairman, Leftist Enabulele after delivering his message of condolence and offered prayers for the departed soul, expressed a major concern for the family left behind, that the police force, must ensure that is due to the family of the late officer, be given to the family, as well as follow up on Government promises to the family.

The network, through the TEC chairman, used the opportunity to present a few recommendations to deter further occurrences leading to this kind of death situation, for the benefit of the still-serving officers of the Nigeria Police, to motivate and encourage them to do their work.

Adams was reported to have collapsed due to unknown health challenges while in the line of duty
