Twenty-year-old Sani Abubakar has been arrested for attempting to have anal sex with a five years old boy in Kalgo Town, Kebbi State.
Abubakar was also alleged to have threatened to kill the child if he dared to disclose what transpired between them.
The Police said that Abubakar would be charged with indecent treatment of child and criminal intimidation.
The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, who said that the incident occurred on the 2nd of February 2023 at about 1: 30PM, added: “Abubakar sexually harassed the five years old, of the same address and attempted to forcibly have sexual intercourse with him through his anus which is against the order of nature. He further threatened to kill him if he dare disclosed the secret between them. The suspect will be charged to court after completion of investigation.”
