Operatives of Alausa Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested five suspects for vandalizing Lagos State Electricity Board cables mounted around 7-Up Bottling Company, Alausa area of Lagos State.
Ukah Gabriel, 29, Emmanuel Ajikula, 29, Athanisus Lornumbe, 28, Titus Akuha,18, and Felix Lornumbe, 27, were arrested in the act on Monday, April 24, 2023,, following receipt of credible intelligence on the suspicious movement of some hoodlums in the area.
Tools and vandalised cables were recovered from the suspects.
The suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation and prosecution.
