The Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that the Nigeria Police Force has arrested 54 suspects for various offences and recovered cache of arms.
His words: “A total of 54 suspects were arrested by the gallant operatives of DFI-IRT and DFI-STS, some of whom are already facing prosecution in court for the various cases for which they have been indicted; 92 firearms were recovered, 760 live ammunition were recovered, 14 exhibit vehicles, one forged document, 120 magazines, two IEDs, one suicide belt as well as cash sums of fake currencies totaling 970,000 US Dollars were also recovered and marked as exhibits for the prosecution of the various cases.”
