2023 EID-EL-FITR: CP Ammani orders deployment of adequate security in Enugu

-

As Muslim faithful in Enugu State joins the Ummah to celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, signaling the end of Ramadan, the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Ahmed Ammani, has ordered Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and Heads of Tactical/Operational Teams to ensure the maximum deployment of operational and intelligence assets at their disposal, towards the actualization of the crime prevention strategies emplaced for the security and safety of the State during and beyond the period of the celebration.

He directs them to ensure that they carry out robust patrols of streets, venues of the celebrations and other public places of convenience to forestall possible breaches of public peace.

The CP, while praying that Allah honours the sacrifices and prayers of love, peace, and security offered by the Muslim faithful in the State during Ramadan, has congratulated and urged them to celebrate responsibly, and peacefully and show love to one another.

He also urged the citizens of the State to remain law-abiding, and security conscious and promptly report suspected criminals and their activities to the nearest Police Station.
