2023 Polls: Suspended Adamawa INEC Rec granted bail, investigation ongoing – Police

The Nigeria Police Force today 5th of May 2023, confirmed that Barr. Hudu Yunusa-Ari, the suspended Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), who has been in custody for interrogation by the police over allegations of impropriety during the supplementary gubernatorial pools in the state, has been granted administrative bail by the Police while investigations subsist.

The Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed this in a statement, added: “He is expected to report at the Police Headquarters every weekday while investigations are ongoing on the matter.”
