Residents of Ipele community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State were thrown into panic in the early hours of Thursday, January 1, 2026, after suspected terrorists attacked and set a police station in the area ablaze.
According to SaharaReporters, the assailants stormed the police facility in the early hours of the day, launching an attack that led to the destruction of the station by fire.
The incident triggered fear and tension in the community as residents fled for safety following the assault on the security installation.
