Customs boss visits CP. Kebbi State, synergises on eradicating crimes

The newly posted Customs Area Controller, Kebbi Command, Comptroller HB Ahmed, fsi, fccs and his entourage had today Tuesday, 10th October 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc mnips in his Office at the State Headquarters, Birnin Kebbi.
In his remarks, the Area Controller said, “It’s a tradition to visit sister security agencies, after assumption of duty, to strengthen the earlier established cordial working relationship, with a view to eradicating crimes and criminalities collectively”. He added that, “Nigeria Customs Service was created out of the Nigeria Police Force, hence the need for the memory to remain in our minds.”
He also seeks intelligence sharing between the Police and Customs in Kebbi State.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc, mnips welcomed the newly posted Area Controller to his Office and reiterated that the Police cannot fight crimes alone. As such,  there is a need for all security agencies to come together with a view to making Kebbi State safe and secure for socio-economic development.
In a related development, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry for Religious Affairs, Kebbi State, Arc. Muhammad Sani Aliyu, mni, fnia also paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Chris Aimiono Wane, psc mnips.
Arc. Muhammad Sani Aliyu welcomed the CP back to Kebbi State for the second time, having served as DPO Bunza Division when he was Chief  Superintendent of Police.
He reiterated that, considering the vulnerable people in the society, there is an urgent need for his Ministry to liaise with the Security agencies, and traditional and religious leaders to nib in the bude, any unforeseen circumstances in our communities.
He prayed for the CP to succeed while piloting the affairs of the Police in Kebbi State.
During his remarks, the CP expressed his appreciation to the Commissioner for registering his presence in his office, considering his tight schedule.
He thanked him for collaborating with the Police in discharging his duties and promised to continue to cooperate and assist the Honourable Commissioner for the benefit of the good people of Kebbi State.
