The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ago Okota Division, Mr Oluwole Oyedele, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) has been applauded for his swift response to a case of defilement of two sisters, ages three and eight by their father.
Comrade Isa Oyetunji, who took to social media to share the incident that warranted the praise of Oyedele, said that the father of the girls, identified as Monday, swooped on both girls and sexually violated them.
Oyetunji said that he refused to believe that Monday could stoop so low as to defile his daughters until he saw the pictures of the resultant effect of the act.
Oyetunji narrated: “The most annoying part of this case was that after I have called the DPO to inform him about the rape case, the mother of the girls called and started pleading that she doesn’t want police to arrest her husband.
“I was surprised by her words and I told her point-blank that it means she conspired with your husband to rape the innocent girls. It’s quite unfortunate that this act of rape keeps repeating itself.
“Thanks to the DPO Ago Okota as the rapist is in the police net.”
