Acting Police Area Commander dies in locked apartment

The remains of a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Ojo Olusegun Samuel after his locked door was forced open.

According to a Situation Report (SITREP) sighted by Securitynewsalert.com, the deceased, AP/No 47674  CSP Ojo Olusegun Samuel, Acting Area Commander Lafiaji on 16th of October 2024, about 7:pm was found dead in his quarters after his locked door was forced open.

The SITREP further states: “The Divisional Police Officer in charge of Lafiaji and team visited the area commander quarters after a series of calls and no response, the door, which was locked, was forced open.

“The dead body was discovered. Given this, photographs were taken. The corpse was removed to General Hospital Lafiagi where Dr Salihu Bolakale confirmed him dead.

“Meanwhile SP Adaba Abdumiminu, 2i/c Area Commander and two others have been directed to convey the corpse to University Teaching Hospital Ilorin UITH for embalmment.”
