OGSHA Gives 6-Month Matching Order To Construction Firm Over Market Shops

By Emmanuel Udom

Ogun State House of Assembly, OGSHA, has given a six-month matching grant to Seminathowe Nigeria Limited, a construction firm based in the state, for the urgent upgrading and remodelling of the popular Ifo main market, located along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.

The matching began on July 2 and is expected to end on December 31, 2025. The assembly also insisted that the construction company must come with a build/operate/transfer method closely supervised and okay by engineers from the Ifo local government area, who must all be carried along.

Large payers with reference No: IFLGA 1092/138, sighted on Saturday by our correspondent, further explained that modern toilets and other facilities should be built alongside the shops, which could either open or be locked up. The posters were signed on behalf of Hon Idris Olalekan Kusimu, chairman of the council, by his management team.
