Man arrested for raping his mentally challenged sister

A young man, Bashir Ibrahim, has been arrested for allegedly raping his mentally challenged sister.

According to the Kebbi State Police, Ibrahim acted on the 26th of September 2022, at about 11:30 am.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, said: “Bashir Ibrahim deceitfully took his unsound mind sister into drainage and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her. The case is under investigation and the suspect will soon be charged in court.”

In another development, on the same 26th of September in the night, the following suspects namely: Anas Mohammed, Dandi and Shehu now at large, dubiously chartered a commercial motorcyclist named Abubakar Adamu and while on motion before reaching their destination, they used a knife and attempted to stab the motorcyclist. As a result, he sustained various degrees of injuries while struggling with them.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime and intensified efforts to arrest the other fleeing suspect.
