A bandit leader identified as Kachalla Maha has claimed he is capable of abducting senior government officials, including a sitting state governor, in a series of voice recordings circulated and shared online.
In the recordings, posted to X by user Dr Kalu (@DrKalu_), the bandit leader said he ordered the kidnapping of “many people” and already had targets in mind, in apparent retaliation for the arrest of some of his associates. He claimed the arrests, including that of an associate named Aminu, had not been reversed despite his requests, and warned that deploying additional troops against him would not deter him.
The bandit leader further alleged that members of the security forces sent to raid his camp were secretly working for him, claiming he received advance notice of military operations — including those said to involve the presidency — and that this cooperation was the only reason security personnel could move freely in the area.
The claims have not been independently verified, and authorities have yet to issue an official response. #Securitynewsalert.com
