A man identified as Chukwudi, described as a notorious kidnapping suspect and a prominent businessman in the cosmetics industry, has been arrested.
According to information shared by GoldMyneTV, Chukwudi allegedly operated a cosmetics shop as a front for his criminal activities while leading a kidnapping gang.
The suspect and his accomplices are accused of abducting victims across Nigeria for ransom. The report alleged that the gang recently killed one of its victims, identified as Steven.
The gang was also reportedly heavily armed, allegedly using four AK-47 rifles and one pump-action shotgun during its operations.
The circumstances surrounding Chukwudi’s arrest, including the security agency responsible for the operation, were not disclosed.
The report described the arrest as a significant breakthrough in the fight against kidnapping, expressing hope that it would enhance public safety.
