Armed men didn’t invade Senator Sani Musa’s residence, says CP

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, CP Babaji Sunday, has stated emphatically that there was no invasion by armed men on the Abuja residence of Senator Sani Musa representing Niger East Senatorial District in the hollowed chambers of the National Assembly.

The CP said that his declaration was contrary to false publications being peddled by some media platforms that failed to verify information in a bid to be perceived as “breaking the news.”

Sunday, in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police, Alkaline Usman Baba, has carried out a strategic review of the security architecture in the FCT with improved deployments where necessary.

The CP urges residents of the FCT to disregard the news making the rounds as false and targeted at causing unnecessary unrest amongst FCT residents.

This was even as he urged residents of FCT to report a suspicion or abnormal occurrences to the nearest police stations.
