Police investigate bludgeoning of 3 yrs old boy to death

Homicide detectives attached to Kebbi State Police Command have launched an investigation into the bludgeoning to death of a three years old boy in Bagudo Local Government Area of the State.

The Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Magaji Kontagora, reacting on the murder of the child, explained that on the 2nd December 2022 at about 7:PM, 25 years old Zara’u Sahabi of Kwaku village, Kaoje District, Bagudo LGA, while in her room, used a plank of wood and hit three years old Gadafi Nasiru on his head. As a result, he died on the spot. On receipt of the report, a team of Policemen rushed to the scene and arrested the suspect. In the course of the investigation, she confessed to the crime. The suspect will be charged to court after completion of the investigation.”
