The Nigeria Police Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said that an investigation has begun into the allegations raised against four police personnel identified as Patrick Chukwuemeka Agbaze, a Chief Superintendent of Police, Princess Nwode, a Superintendent of Police, Arthur Eze and Inspector Harrison Akama.
The investigation into the activities of the personnel was launched following online accusations raised by Nigerians on Gistloverblog site.
The police personnel was accused of running a squad in Anambra State Police Command, with Patrick overseeing the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
How long these alleged nefarious activities had been going on is yet unknown, especially since the Police Force claimed to have scrapped SARS.
The personnel was accused of killing suspects in their custody to take over their valuables like their cars, money, and landed property.
It was further alleged that they suspected fraudsters were mostly their victims. They were also accused of harvesting the organs of detainees killed.
The accusations began as a trickle and soon became a deluge with many more Nigerians taking to the online platform to talk about those who were arrested by the alleged killer squad and never seen by their friends or relatives.
One of the accusations states thus: “There are people that were arrested and never came back. They were all killed by CSP Patrick Agbazue and Inspector Harrison Akama, who is Patrick’s hitman, now married to SPO Princess. They all came together to form a deadly squad.”
The accusers explained that the squad’s modus operandi was that once Patrick and his team arrested suspects, there was a possibility that the suspects would never be seen again.
“It’s either he kills you for having enough money in your account and taking over your vehicle and transferring all your money to a certain account or he kills you for not having any money at all. He has a room where he takes his victims to torture them and then write a note (statement) for them. He will make them confess to a crime they didn’t commit before he and Harrison Akama kill and harvest their organs. All the vehicles Patrick drives were taken from suspects he arrested and murdered. Even the white Camry Spider he drove to work yesterday is owned by a yahoo guy he murdered. As of yesterday, his account number 2282966036 Zenith Bank Agbazue Patrick Chukwuemeka has a lot of millions in it and he has choice property scattered all over Nigeria. A CSP that earns a little above N200,000 a month has all of these gathered. New World Mortuary Nteje is where most of the bodies he killed are deposited with the help of one Hausa guy named Sanni. He does all the illegalities concerning the morgue for them,” the accusers further alleged.
