Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association Pays CP Kebbi State Courtesy Visit

-

The Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M. Sani and his management team on Wednesday, 18th September 2024, received Members of the Executive council, Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association, Kebbi State Branch, under the able leadership of Alhaji A. C. Ladan, (Barden Gwandu), for a courtesy visit, at State Headquarters, Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi.

In his opening remarks, Alhaji A. C. Ladan welcomed CP Bello M. Sani to Kebbi State, the Land of Equity. He stated further that ” they decided to visit the CP in his office to identify with him as their member after reading his biography in a press release issued by the Command.”

He added that, by their constitution, a graduate of ABU becomes a member of the state of his residence and not his State of origin. Given that, CP Bello M. Sani automatically becomes a member of the Kebbi State Branch as provided by the constitution.

Barden Gwandu used the opportunity and brief the CP on the activities of the association both at the national and state levels.

In the same vein, they offered a special prayer for CP Bello M. Sani to succeed in piloting the affairs of the Kebbi State Police Command. They also assured him of their continued support in ensuring security in Kebbi State, as they had noticed a strong action had been taken against Crimes on his assumption of duty, as Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command.

Members of the Executive council were highly delighted when they realized that both the DC ‘A’ and AC ‘A’, DCP Aminu Babale and ACP Bashir Muhammad Haruna are also their members.

While responding, CP Bello M. Sani welcomed them to his office and thanked them immensely for identifying with him and finding time to visit him despite their tight schedules.

He expressed his delight with the activities of the branch and promised to contribute positively towards assisting the branch to discharge its functions effectively.  The visit ended peacefully with the presentation of souvenirs by CP Bello M. Sani to his August visitors.
