AIG FCID Magaret Ochalla Awarded As One Of 65 Women Making Significant Impact In Africa

On March 31, 2025, AIG Margaret Ochalla, Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of FCID Annex Lagos, was honoured as one of 65 women recognized for making a profound impact across Africa.

At the event, AIG Ochalla was honoured for her exceptional leadership and her significant contributions to justice, law enforcement, and crime prevention.

Arise TV’s Chief Nduka Obalgbena, CO, noted that AIG Margaret Ochalla is a veteran of the Nigerian Police Force. She has built a distinguished career grounded in grit, discipline, and results. As an Assistant Inspector General, AIG Ochalla is well-regarded for spearheading community policing initiatives and intelligence-driven crime-fighting strategies.

Her leadership has left a positive mark on various regions throughout the country, with a focused effort on reducing violent crime and enhancing public trust in law enforcement. A passionate advocate for gender inclusion within the police force, AIG Ochalla has also played a pivotal role in mentoring the next generation of female officers, serving as a strong role model for inclusive and effective leadership in security.
