Another Facebook Lover Found Dismembered By Alleged Serial Killer

-

On Monday, February 10, 2025, Lawal Hafsoh Yetunde went missing while attending a naming ceremony.

Reports indicate that she received a call from a friend, prompting her to drop her food and leave the event. Since then, her family and friends have been searching for her without any leads.

On Tuesday, her parents reported her disappearance to the Oja Oba Police Station in Ilorin. The police quickly took action, requesting her phone number to track her last call.

This investigation led them to an individual residing in the Ofa Garage district of Ilorin, although his family home is in Isalekuto.

The suspect was apprehended but initially denied any knowledge of Hafsoh’s whereabouts. However, during a search of his residence, he confessed that she had died from an asthma attack after he had called her to come over.

Tragically, the police later discovered Hafsoh’s body dismembered and hidden in a bowl, along with tools used in the dismemberment. The suspect is currently in custody at the police headquarters in Ilorin.

The Kwara State Police Command has been praised for their swift action in solving this case. Hafsoh was a final-year student at the Kwara State College of Education in Ilorin.

The suspect reportedly met her through Facebook, where he obtained her phone number and invited her over.

Disturbingly, evidence found in the suspect’s home suggests this may not be his first offence; a table in his room contained tools typically used for dismemberment.

The investigation is ongoing at the Kwara State Police Headquarters, and further information will be provided as it becomes available, including pictorial and video evidence. Notably, the suspect is the son of a well-known cleric from Isalekoto, Ilorin.

His name is Abdulrahman Muhamed Bello, the son of the late Sheikh Isiaq Muhammad Bello, who died on 26th of December 2024. The father was a well-known cleric in Ilorin.
