CAIDOV Congratulates New IGP, Tunji Disu, On Appointment

-

The Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence, CAIDOV, has congratulated the newly appointed IGP Tunji Disu on his appointment as the 23rd indigenous Inspector General of Police.
In a letter signed by the Executive Director of CAIDOV, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, made available to securitynewsalert.com, the centre said that the appointment did not come as a surprise due to his humane and pro-people type of policing.
“The staff, management and Board of Trustees of Centre Against Injustice and Domestic Violence, CAIDOV, heartily rejoice with the amiable and pro-people professional security expert, on his elevation from Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG in charge of FCID Alagbon Lagos, to the most exalted office of the Inspector General of Police.
“Your appointment did not come as a surprise to some of us who have come across your humane and pro-people style of policing. You are one of the few senior police officers who serve as a pillar of public trust in the security and protection of the rule of law.
“We wish you a resounding success in your new responsibility towards our dear country, Nigeria and humanity at large. Once again, Congratulations, Sir,” the letter read.
