On April 17, 2025, the Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, AIG Patrick Adedeji Atayero (B.Sc, M.Sc, MBA, PSC), paid a working visit to AIG Ahmed Ammani, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 1, Kano.

This visit aimed to reinforce the strategic partnership between the Academy and the Zonal Command.

During the meeting, both leaders discussed collaborative efforts to enhance police training, discipline, and professional standards.

They emphasised the importance of aligning the Academy’s curriculum with the operational needs of the Zone, ensuring that cadets are well-prepared to meet contemporary policing challenges.

The Commandant’s visit underscores the Academy’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with various police commands, promoting a unified approach to law enforcement training and operations across the country.
