CP Eribo Assures Akwa Ibom Governor Of Security Of Lives, Property

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Eribo has assured the Akwa Ibom State Governor of adequate security of lives and properties in the State.

 

CP Eribo gave this assurance on the 24th of September, 2024 when he led members of the Management team of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command on a courtesy visit to the Governor and members of the Governor’s cabinet.

 

CP Eribo appreciated the Governor for the hospitality he has so far enjoyed since he arrived in the State as the 33rd Commissioner of Police. He said he does not take such hospitality and personal support for granted.

 

The CP further thanked the State’s Chief Executive for the support Governor Umo Eno has extended to the Police and even solicited for more, adding that with the Governor’s support, he and the Police personnel in Akwa Ibom State shall ensure that the crime rate in Akwa Ibom State is reduced to the barest minimum.

 

CP Eribo promised to join hands with Sister security agencies to ensure that Akwa Ibom State maintains its status as one of the safest States in the country.

 

In his remarks, the Governor congratulated CP Eribo on his posting to Akwa Ibom, appreciated him for being grateful, promising the CP his full support. He informed the CP that his Government is determined to ensure that Akwa Ibom State is made very hot for crime and criminal elements.

Governor Umo Eno further hinted that his Government shall partner with and support the Police towards ensuring that Akwa Ibom enjoys the best security for her citizens and dwellers.

He however charged the Police to demonstrate excellent Professionalism in line with International Best practices as they continue the battle against crimes in the State.
