CP Kebbi Calls On Commercial Cyclists To Be Wary Of Passengers At Night

…Further Urges Cyclists To Register  Motorcycles, Check Motorcycle Snatching

Sequel to an upsurge of motorcycle snatching in Birnin Kebbi Metropolis, the Commissioner of Police, Kebbi State Command, CP Bello M Sani has called on the commercial Motorcyclists to be wary of the people they convey, more especially at night, who may be unnecessarily friendly by giving them gifts or food that might have been drugged thereby making the cyclist to drowsy or go into comma, which may easily give room of dispossession of his motorcycle.

Sani equally implores commercial cyclists to endeavour to register their motorcycles too to assist the Commandin in getting rid of motorcycle snatching, or when snatched, to easily assist in its investigation and recovery.

The CP also appeals to the good people of Kebbi State to be cautious of highly inflammable substances or items, considering the beginning of harmattan wind to prevent the outbreak of fire which may result in loss of lives or property.

He, however, warned embers of the public to desist from bush burning during this season and to make sure that they always switch off their electrical appliances when not in use.
