CP Ogun Urges Residents to Use Digital Platform for Crime Reporting

-

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Bode Ojajuni, has called on residents to take advantage of the Gateway Shield Platform, a digital policing initiative designed to enhance security and community engagement.

Ojajuni said the platform serves as a virtual police station where members of the public can report incidents, share anonymous tips, and interact directly with law enforcement authorities on security matters.

He noted that the dedicated phone line, 08000009111, is toll-free and available for residents to report emergencies or suspicious activities.

According to the police chief, the platform can also be accessed online and through mobile applications available on Android and iPhone devices, making it easier for citizens to connect with the police from anywhere.

Reiterating the command’s commitment to public safety, Ojajuni urged residents to actively use the platform, stressing the importance of collaboration between the police and the community. #Securitynewsalert.com
