CP Salman Dogo Garba Receives Chairman Of National Hajj Commission, Prof. Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, MD/CEO OF KEDCO, ENG. Abubakar Yusuf On A Courtesy Visit

On 23rd of October 2024, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Salman Dogo Garba received a courtesy visit from the Chairman of National Hajj Commission, Prof Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan and another separate visit by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Engr. Abubakar Yusuf.

 

The CP also hosts the Director Admin and General Services, Kano State Transport Authority (Kano Line), and Alhaji Salihi Yusuf Ibrahim on condolence.

The visit, which took place at the office of the Commissioner of Police, sought to strengthen collaboration and partnership between the Police Command and these prominent organizations.

In his remark, the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of the Kano State Police Command in providing a secure environment for Hajj participants. He seeks more support from the Command in ensuring the safety of pilgrims in Kano State.

In his remark, the Managing Director of KEDCO appreciates the Kano Police Command for bolstering security around KEDCO facilities. He also requested more security measures in safeguarding KEDCO infrastructure, especially in the current situation in the Country. He thanked the CP usual cooperation.

The Commissioner of Police commended the collaborative efforts between the Kano State Police Command, the National Hajj Commission, and the Kano Electricity Distribution Company. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and all critical government and private infrastructures in Kano State. The CP also appreciated the visit by the Director of Kano Line for finding time to extend his condolence to Police Officers who lost their lives recently in an accident.  The visits were concluded with mutual pledges of cooperation.
