DOHS Cares Foundation has emerged as the second runner-up in the European Union Sex and Gender Based Violence innovation challenge for the 16 days of activism.
In the Tech Enabled GBV category, DOHS Cares Foundation Femicide Observatory and Podcast emerged as 2nd runner-up as the observatory displays a dashboard of cases, which details the victims-perpetrator relationship a registry of cases with details of the victim and place of occurrence of the act and also visualized trends and patterns of femicide in the country.
DOHS is harnessing tech to mitigate prevent and respond to femicide.
The DOHS podcast is also a bibliotherapy platform where SGBV survivors share their stories to inspire others to escape abusive environments.
