Enugu CP Receives New DSS Director, Reaffirms Commitment To Stronger Partnership

\The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, on January 28, 2025, hosted the new State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr. Humphrey Ohikuare, who paid him a courtesy and familiarisation visit at the State Headquarters, GRA, Enugu.

 

Welcoming the SDS and his team, CP Kanayo reaffirmed the commitment of the Police to fostering a stronger partnership and seamless collaboration with the DSS. He highlighted the importance of synergy between the two agencies, describing them as “two inseparable sides of the same coin” and emphasising that effective security management relies on mutual understanding and cooperation among security stakeholders.

 

In his remarks, Mr. Ohikuare expressed gratitude for the warm reception and explained that his visit was to formally introduce himself and solicit the continued support and cooperation of the Police in maintaining the security of Enugu State.

 

The meeting, attended by members of the Commissioner’s management team, provided an opportunity for fruitful interaction and a reaffirmation of shared goals in ensuring the safety and security of Enugu State.
