A father has been arrested after sexually violating his daughter since she was nine years old.
Our reporter gathered that the suffering of the sexually violated child was discovered this year when she is already six years old.
In fact, the father would have continued to have his way with his daughter, but the girl became pregnant.
According to a confirmed report, the case has been taken to Lagos Women Affairs, with Advocates for Children and Vulnerable Persons Network (ACVPN) becoming interested parties.
Our reporter further gathered that the suspect would be charged with incest and defilement. It was also heard that the matter had earlier been domiciled at Igando Police Station and Gender Unit of the Lagos State Police Command.
Ebenezer Omejalile, Co-founder, of ACVPN, said: “The perpetrator is the survivor’s father, who according to the survivor, had been molesting her right from when she was nine years old. Painfully, the survivor said she had on several occasions informed her mother who never acted on complaints but decided to keep it as a family secret. The bombshell now the victim is 17 years old and she’s three months pregnant for her randy father. Presently, the mother is behaving like a hostile witness that must be contained. Further reports would be updated as events unfold.”
