Four Arraigned For Stealing, Receiving Stolen Car

Four accused persons, Odunlami Soleu Wale, Salmi Isiaka, Tajudeen Yekini and Nurudeen Ogunmola, have been arraigned over alleged stealing and receiving of a stolen car.

They were arraigned at Court 8, Igbosere, before Magistrate Mrs Ayoku Gbajumo.

The prosecutor is M. A. Animashaun Esq.

Odunlami Soleu Wale and Salami Isiaka on or about the 17th day of December 2024, at Orile area of Lagos State in the Lagos Magisterial District, conspired among yourself to commit a felony, to wit stealing and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 411 of the Criminal Law, Cap (17Vol3) Laws of Lagos State 2015.

Wale on the 17th of December 2014 in the Orile area of Lagos State, stole a grey Toyota 4Runner vehicle with chassis number, JTEZU17RX8K0063731 valued at N12,000,000 property of one JITEN KHEMANI.

Salami Isiaka and Tajudeen Yekini and Nurudeen Ogunmola between the 17th -27th day of December 2024, in the Orile area, received a Grey Toyota 4Runner Vehicle from Odunlami Soleu Wale and aided in disposing of the same despite knowing that it was stolen vehicle.

The defendants were arraigned on the 10th of February 2025, and they all pleaded not guilty.

Bail condition was set at N1m with two responsible surety in like sum. Addresses of sureties are to be verified by the prosecution, as evidence of tax for three years.

The case was adjourned to the 10th of March 2025 for mention.
