Trial continued, on Tuesday, in the Charge marked FHC/ABJ/CR/550/2022: FRN v. Ali Bello & Anor, before Justice J. K Omotosho at the Federal High Court, Abuja Division.
The prosecution, led by Rotimi Oyedepo SAN, called another Witness, Rabiu Musa Tafada as PW3, a Bureau De Change operator in Abuja.
He was examined in chief by Oyedepo SAN who tendered two record books through him. The Witness who testified through an Interpreter could, however, not conclude his evidence as the Prosecution sought an adjournment after the Witness denied knowing one Hudu Driver whose name was allegedly contained in one of the Record Books marked as Exhibit G.
Meanwhile, the Prosecution informed the Court of an Amended Charge filed on 5/2/2024.
The Court, however, could not consider the amended charge as the same was not in the Court’s file. Consequently, the matter was adjourned to the 13th, 22nd and 23rd of February 2024, for the continuation of trial.
Z. E Abass Esq represented the 1st Defendant while the 2nd Defendant was represented by Nureini Jimoh, SAN.
