-

The Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, officially flagged off the 2025 edition of the Commandant’s Games on the 7th July 2025, at the Academy Stadium.

The event marks the commencement of a 3-day sporting engagement aimed at promoting physical fitness, discipline, esprit de corps, and healthy competition among cadets of the Academy.

The Commandant, in his remarks, emphasised the importance of sports in building teamwork, leadership, and resilience — all core values of policing.

Participants from various Regular courses within the Academy will compete in a series of sporting events, including football, athletics, volleyball, and indoor games.

The Commandant commended the organising committee for their efforts and encouraged all participants to exhibit professionalism, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

The 2025 Commandant’s Games will run from 7th to 9th July, 2025.
